Slayer vocalist Tom Araya was advised by his doctors not to perform at their Adelaide show due to severe laryngitis. Slayer have been forced to cancel the date as a result. Rumours have already started that Slayer will be performing at Soundwave 2010 after a hint was released from starjamgirl on Twitter that one of the bands on the second announcement will be an ‘old school metal band’. Apparently drummer Dave Lombardo also broke the news in Adelaide during a drummers clinic at Derringers Music Store. Tune into Triple J on Tuesday at 7:45am for the official second Soundwave announcement.
