Tim Lambesis (As I Lay Dying) has been handed a six year jail term for the guilty plea of solicitation of another to commit murder of his now estranged wife Meggan. It was told by the judge that Lambesis’ claims that the steroids played a major factor were inconsistent. He went on to insist that in Lambesis‘ case it was “something twisted inside a character” to want to commit murder. Due to Lambesis‘ restraining order and being unable to speak to his estranged wife Meggan before the sentencing took place, he did mention during the court date that:
“I do feel deep remorse. I want to thank you… for your prayers… in the midst of everything that I’ve done… that you have still have the heart that you do.”

Tim acquiesced to Meggan’s requests, which included losing his children permanently, agreeing to a 10-year restraining order, giving her full ownership of his life insurance policy, taking full responsibility for any tax liabilities, turning over any cash that was seized from his home and surrendering the almost $250,000 remaining in trust accounts. Tim’s parents, Nick and Vicki, also gave into Meggan’s demand that they give up all rights as grandparents.
