Fear Factory Officially Regrouped
November 8th, 2009Fear Factory have now officially regrouped and have signed a deal with Candlelight Records, they will release their new album “Mechanize” on February 09th 2010. As previously mentioned, band members include original vocalist Burton C. Bell and guitarist Dino Cazares with Rhys Fulber on keyboards/programming, Byron Stroud on bass and Gene Hoglan on drums. The Amity Affliction Jan Tour
November 4th, 2009The Amity Affliction will be touring in January 2010 with Break Even and Burning Empires dubbed “The Endless Bummer Tour“.
Burning Empires features Misery Signals‘ Stu Ross (guitars), Ryan Morgan (guitars) and Kyle Johnson (bass) with Fall Out Boy drummer Andy Hurley and ex-7 Angels 7 Plagues frontman Matt Mixon. They describe their sound as “crusty hard-charging punk with nary a melodic or metal shred in site”. The band will be recording an EP shortly with Mike Schleibaum of Darkest Hour for a release early next year.
The Endless Bummer Tour starts January 3rd, tickets will be available from all Oztix and Moshtix outlets from Friday November 6th. The dates of the tour are as follows:

On January 9th, 2009, 36 Crazyfists filmed their very first live DVD in their hometown of Anchorage, Alaska. The effort, aptly titled “Underneath A Northern Sky” was directed by good friend Todd Bell, who joined the band for a weeks worth of revisiting old stomping grounds, listening to stories of the formation of the band and all the antics that come along with a band who is in their 15th year and counting.
The DVD will include footage of the very first 36 Crazyfists show as well as countless other rare scenes of globetrotting by a band from Alaska who has defied the odds of coming from a place of obscurity to touring and playing major festivals around the world. Along with the live show, ridiculous backstage antics and band member interviews, all the bands videos are also present on the DVD.
System Of A Down Reform
November 3rd, 2009System Of A Down have regrouped without vocalist Serj Tankian for a live Halloween show at the Roxy in Hollywood. They were also joined by Frank Perez from Scars On Broadway and performed 3 songs including “They Say” by Scars On Broadway and “Suite-Pee” by System of A Down.
